FL GRL is an ongoing body of work shaped by memory and place. Drawing from my upbringing in rural Florida, the paintings sit with longing, loss, and the inevitability of change, attending to the quiet erosion of familiar landscapes and ways of life. The work wrestles with the ache for permanence within an impermanent world, lingering in the tension between what is remembered and what continues to fade
